Hello Everyone,

At Talks Night we’ll have 2 or 3 20-minute talks along with networking opportunities.

Please sign up here if you plan to attend so that we can plan for the number of attendees.

Who is this Event For?

This event is for anyone interested in Ruby or the Ruby on Rails framework. All levels are encouraged to attend, I you are just starting with Ruby or Rails, or if you are an experienced developer. The main requirement is that you are interested in learning and sharing.

Pre-Order Pizza

We did this for the 8 February event and we are doing it again!

Participants have the option to pre-order a pizza from Gorms:

Pizza will be delivered at 18:30.

A pizza costs 100 DKK and includes delivery.

There is a choice of 3 pizza options:

MARGHERITA: Tomat, bøffelmozzarella, cherrytomater, basilikumsolie og frisk basilikum
GORM’S HAWAII: tomat, mozzarella, urteskinke, cherrytomater, grøn peberfrugt, mascarpone, frisk ananas og frisk basilikum
SALUMI: tomat, mozzarella, ventricina (stærk salami) og friske urter

If you wish to pre-order a pizza, send an email to Joel ( jtm@xyzenterprises.xyz ). Orders must be placed before 16:00 on Friday the 3rd of March. You must pay by MobilePay at the time of placing the order. Refunds will not be issued after 16:00 on Friday the 3rd of March.

Drinks, Chips, and Event Sponsor

Our event sponsor for 8 March is Ignacio.

We will be providing beer, soda, and chips.

We are also looking for a sponsor for our next events, either from group participants of from companies. If you have haven’t sponsored an event for 2017 yet, please consider sponsoring an event.

2017 Schedule

CPH Ruby Brigade will hold an event every month in 2017. Monthly events will be held at Rainmaking Loft in Copenhagen ( http://www.rainmakingloft.dk/ ). All events take place from 18:00 – 21:00.Events take place on the second Wednesday of each month (dates are included below).

Event Formats

We are experimenting with two event formats, Hack Night and Talks Night, and we will alternate between these each month.

Hack Night is an informal evening. Bring your laptop. The idea is that small groups will talk together, work together on projects, and share tips and suggestions to programming challenges.

Talks Night is more formal. We’ll have 2 or 3 20-minute talks along with networking opportunities.
