Hello Everyone,

At Talks Night we’ll have 2 or 3 20-minute talks along with networking opportunities.

Please note that the schedule has changed slightly, from 17:30 to 20:00. First presentation starts at 18:00.

Who is this Event For?

This event is for anyone interested in Ruby or the Ruby on Rails framework. All levels are encouraged to attend, I you are just starting with Ruby or Rails, or if you are an experienced developer. The main requirement is that you are interested in learning and sharing.

Speakers

Mark Jordanovic-Lewis: Ruby Cogs, useless ideas at 2:00am. An experiment with statemachines.

Ignacio Huerta: Programming games in Ruby with Gosu.

We will also have a Ruby quiz where everyone can participate. The winner will receive a prize!

We are also looking for a sponsor for our next events, either from group participants of from companies. If you have haven’t sponsored an event for 2017 yet, please consider sponsoring an event.

2017 Schedule

CPH Ruby Brigade will hold an event every month in 2017. Monthly events will be held at Rainmaking Loft in Copenhagen ( http://www.rainmakingloft.dk/ ). All events take place from 17:30 – 20:00. Events take place on the second Wednesday of each month (dates are included below).

Event Formats

We are experimenting with two event formats, Hack Night and Talks Night, and we will alternate between these each month.

Hack Night is an informal evening. Bring your laptop. The idea is that small groups will talk together, work together on projects, and share tips and suggestions to programming challenges.

Talks Night is more formal. We’ll have 2 or 3 20-minute talks along with networking opportunities.
