Please join us for our weekly mindfulness meditation group events and explore the positive benefits of this peaceful and grounding practice. There will be basic instruction, a dharma talk on a topic related to mindfulness and guided meditation. During this group we learn to: * Alleviate stress and suffering by developing your capacity to stay in the present. * Open to the breath, body and emotions through guided meditations. * Cultivate the healing and connecting power of opening your heart to life, love and experience through Compassion and Loving Kindness. Also, because there isn't a monetary obligation to signing up for this class and not showing, we'd appreciate it if you only RSVP if you will be attending. Absences impact the group dynamics, and limit space for others to join.

We are a Vipassana/Insight Meditation Community, that began meeting together in 2014. Since then we have grown to be a warm welcoming community of meditators, exploring the many positive and healing benefits of Mindfulness practice.

We invite you to join us for our weekly mindfulness meditation group, every Sunday from 11:00am - 12:45pm on line through Zoom (i.e. for the safety of all, in person meetings will not take place until the need for social distancing is lifted).

During our meetings, there isbasic instruction, a wisdom talk on a topic related to mindfulness, 30 minute guided/silent meditation, followed by a Mindful Iquiry period (i.e. you are invited to ask questions or share your experience with what was discussed).

During this group we learn to:

* Alleviate stress and suffering by developing your capacity to stay in the present with an open mind and heart.

* Open to the breath, body and emotions through guided meditations.

* Cultivate the healing and connecting power of opening your heart to life, love and experience through Compassion and Loving Kindness.

Step into a peaceful space...let go of distractions and learn to settle the mind, connect with the breath, body and heart through the practice of mindfulness meditation.

Mindfulness meditation helps us gain deeper insight and clarity of mind which helps support self-discovery, healing and learning to integrate this practice into our daily lives.

During this event we will practice:

• Guided and silent mindfulness meditations.

• Walking meditations

• Opportunities to practice both indoors and outdoors.

• Mindful eating meditation (Light snacks to be provided).

• Short Dharma/Mindfulness talk

• Opportunity for questions and sharing to help integrate the day's experience.
