1 Day Intro to R [WORKSHOP FULL]

Hello all, I will be running a free, one-day introduction to R on September 1st (Thursday), from 09:00 to 16:30 at UCC (WGB room G16). Places are available on a first come first serve basis. I am only taking up to 15 participants, so if you want to attend, please let me know ASAP by email (ddahly@ucc.ie).

The course is intended for people who are completely new to R, but are used to other statistical software such as Stata or SPSS. Each participant will need to being their own laptop with R and R-Studio Desktop installed. Please make sure you have everything working before coming to the workshop. You will also need access to the internet via eduroam (or your mobile data connection). I will be in touch again as the date nears. The day will be divided into 4 X 90 minute sessions:

1. Making plots
2. Working with tidy data
3. Statistical tests and linear regression
4. Reproducible research programming
