What we're about

Anyone who wants to learn how to draw figures from life, or else practice the same without instruction. During our Meetups we will either learn to draw from live models, or participate in Life Drawing practice sessions (without instruction in the case of practice sessions).

Half-Course: Introduction to Life Drawing.

Long'sYard Studio

€65.00

This half-course (4 weeks) will serve as a taster for our regular 8-week courses, which will re-commence in September. Each of the 4 weeks will dip into a different fundamental of drawing from the figure, building on the previous week. We will also build up to drawing from the model, beginning by working from mannequins, then from a virtual model, and finally from a live model towards the end of the course. The half-course starts on Tuesday 16th of July 2019. There is parking at Long's Yard for EUR1 for the class. The classes are suitable for anyone, because - as is always Andrew's approach to teaching - your learning will be based on where you are at at the beginning of each lesson, and not on anyone else's standards or expectations.Andrew Carroll, the tutor at Visions, is a professional Visual Artist and grounds his Visual Arts Practice in Drawing and Painting. He has a BA and MA in Visual Arts Practice from IADT Dun Laoghaire. He has exhibited paintings at the Royal Hibernian Academy Annual Exhibition, and held his own solo exhibition in Cork in 2018. The class is €65 per 4-week course. RSVP here, and then email Andrew at [masked], to book your place.
