I'm excited to announce that our next Meetup will be hosted by Joey Campbell from CIT Crawford in Crawford's lovely new building in Cork City Centre. Joey will speak and do a Q&A about student work in this space, as well as discussing some of his own fascinating research in VR, haptics and the gamification of physical exercise in immersive environments. We hear that at least one of our members has found a job through attending these Meetups, so it's a good opportunity to meet other people who are working in, and enthusiastic about, this space, and to try out some demos!
Cost: Free
Time: 7pm - 9pm, and for anyone interested, we'll go for a drink nearby after.
