Announcing a new Meetup for Cosplay - Atlanta!

What: Seishun Con

When: Friday, June 25,[masked]:00 AM

Atlanta Marriott Northwest
200 Interstate North Parkway
Atlanta, GA 30339

Celebrating the springtime of life and all things Japanese, Seishun-Con is headed to The Atlanta Marriott Northwest from June 25th through the 27th. This brand-new convention will offer everything for the fan of Japanese animation and comics, from the anime and manga stories to the video games, the art of music videos, and the culture of cosplay.

Seishun-Con will be running video game tournaments for players to show their skill at the national sport of South Korea, Starcraft, amongst others. A costume contest will be fun for viewers and the contestants, with the winning prize being a full photo shoot with Dim Horizon Studio. Additionally, an AMV competition will allow people to rock out with their anime editing skills, while a rave will allow fans to rock out to hyperkinetic Japanese music at night. Karaoke will let fans belt out their favorite tunes with the ancient Japanese art. A combination dealer's room and artist room will offer fans to have a chance to buy their favorite shows, books, and toys, while allowing the same fans to sell their arts, crafts, and the like side by side.

Throughout the three day convention, panels will be running on a variety of topics, all hosted by their respective experts, ranging from the history of animation to the current culture and "how to" panels. For those that want to sit back and watch some of their favorite shows (and learn about some new ones), they can check out the video rooms, showing a constant stream of the latest and greatest alongside the classic oldies, and even some of the more forgettable titles.

A single day pass is $20 at the door, with a three-day pass running a bargain at $30. However a three-day online preregistration is only $25. Atlanta's newest summer anime convention still has rooms available at The Atlanta Marriott Northwest, so lock your room down today and have some fun at the premiere Seishun-Con!
