Sewers of all ages & skill levels welcome! We’re helping creative minds achieve new skills by providing the tools you need to develop your sense of fashion design. We promote sewing by providing instruction, ideas, and encouragement to all sewers. We offer a variety of projects from clothing design to home decoration and DIY crafts. Whether you’re just beginning or want to grow your skill set, we’d love to invite you to our class. Suggested sewing supplies: a tape measure a pair of good, sharp fabric scissors Gutermann thread to match background of your fabric glass-headed pins (you can't iron on top of the plastic heads) a magnetic pin cushion a new seam ripper (if it's too old it won't work well) a seam gauge a marking device (chalk or fabric marker) Universal sewing machine needle size 12 Please pay for the lessons at: Orange County Sewing Lessons (http://www.orangecountysewinglessons.com/group_sessons.html) Machines available at $7.00 extra charge. $35/session $120/four sessions Four week session policies: We require you attend 4 consecutive weeks of class with one option to reschedule. 24 hour notice is required to reschedule if you cannot make it to class. After one rescheduled class, fee will be retained for missed sessions.

Have fun painting in oil or acrylic: your choice! Learn how to create your vision on canvas. You will design and compose your image, learn color schemes and color mixing, brushwork and expression. OIL PAINTING SUPPLIES: Palette: Masterson palette box, Grey Matters palette paper, Odorless Mineral Spirits, Jar with lid for mineral spirits, Liquin or Linseed Oil or Neo Megilp or Walnut Alkyd Oil, Paper Towels (Viva), Art Box to carry everything. Brushes: S, M, L Flat ; S, M, L Filbert; S, M, Round. Paints: Titanium White, Cadmium Lemon (or Light), Cadmium Yellow Medium, Cadmium Red Light, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue, Viridian (green), Sap Green. Optional: Permanent Rose (or Quin. Magenta), Phthalo Blue, Phthalo Green, Chromatic Black (Gamblin). Canvas: 16x20 is a medium size. Select your source photo and decide which size canvas you want. I will help you with cropping and composition. ACRYLIC PAINTING SUPPLIES: Palette: Sta-Wet palette pox with sponge and paper, or a white plastic palette with an airtight cover that allows you to peel the acrylic off. Teri teaches a positive approach to watercolors. Fun is the focus in this class. In addition to watercolor and water based mediums she also covers drawing and techniques for pastel, acrylic and mixed media collage. Your artistic spirit will be energized.
