The adoption of Node.js and Angular is growing rapidly. The Angular framework brings together an integrated toolset to help developers write great code - faster. We’ll explore how to use them with Couchbase (https://developer.couchbase.com/) to help you learn or sharpen a new skill.

Come see how to create server-side Node.js applications using both SQL-like N1QL and an ODM called Ottoman as well as how to build front-ends using the latest version of Angular. There will be a lot of NoSQL, a lot of JavaScript and a lot of fun.

Bring your laptop and code along.

Schedule:

6:00 - 6:30: Food, Drinks & Networking

6:30 - 7:00: Building an API with Node.js, Couchbase, and N1QL

7:00 - 7:30: Swapping N1QL for an ODM called Ottoman

7:30 - 8:30: Including Angular in the Stack

About the Speaker:

Nic Raboy is an advocate of modern web and mobile development technologies. He has experience in Java, JavaScript, Golang and a variety of frameworks such as Angular, NativeScript, and Apache Cordova. Nic writes about his development experiences related to making web and mobile development easier to understand.

Parking:

All visitors are required to park in the P1 parking structure.

Visitors/guests should pull up to the gate arm, press the intercom button and advise security that they are an AT&T visitor, provide their name and the AT&T contact they came to see (tell them you're here for the Couchbase Meetup, in the conference center)

Reserved visitor spots marked “Visitor Parking Only” are now available through the North entrance of the P1 parking structure. No validation is required and the gate arm will automatically raise upon exit.
