What we're about

This group has been created to support those who suffer from depression and seek a caring, supportive, informal and safe space to share our experiences. Although a lot has been accomplished in the care and treatment of mental illness, many of us may still feel shame, isolation and fear about what we are dealing with. This is a place where we can find and meet others who understand and are willing to care for themselves and others by just being there to listen and support. It is possible. Please join us! Please note: These meetings are intended to be for support and friendship only, not a place for professional care and treatment. Please seek such care from qualified health care professionals.

Online October Depression Support Group

Online event

We have an online private location for our meetings. **Please follow the steps as outlined below in order to be emailed the link for the meeting.** We will be online, using Cisco Webex software. At this meetup we will share our experiences with depression so as to get and find support. Everyone is free to share or just listen. The meeting will last about 2 hrs, from 7 to 9 p.m., with a short break in the middle. Come and join us!

AN ADDITIONAL STEP is that you will need to register for the meeting with the Mood Disorders Assoc. website, WHEN YOU RSVP, so that you can access the Cisco Webex software link at the meeting time. The link should be sent automatically to your email when you register. Access can also be over the phone line. Register here:

PLEASE NOTE: When we approach the meetup date, even if it is the same day, if you have RSVP'd YES but have decided not to come PLEASE make every effort to change your RSVP to NO so others on the automatic waiting list can get a chance to come. If you don't change it, but choose not to come, then others don't know the spot might be available. Thank-you.
