L'utilisation d'un environnement de développement intégré nuirait-elle à votre apprentissage du cycle de développement d'une application? Plutôt que de tenter de répondre à cette question, et ainsi tomber dans la polémique, cette présentation vise à approfondir la compréhension des mécanismes à l'oeuvre derrière votre environnement de développement préféré, quel qu'il soit. Elle ira également au-delà de la compilation en traitant de certains mécanismes qui propulsent l'exécution d'une application.

La rencontre a lieu dans les bureaux de Microsoft à Montréal, au 5e étage, où nous serons reçus par Rami Sayar. Les portes seront ouvertes à partir de 18h et de la pizza sera servie sur place, gracieuseté de notre commanditaire Druide Informatique inc. La présentation commencera vers 19h, sera d'une durée d'environ 50 minutes et sera donnée en anglais par Gabriel Aubut-Lussier.

Is the usage of an integrated development environment hurtful to your understanding of the development lifecycle of an application? Instead of answering this particular question, and delve into controversial territory, this talk is about gaining a deeper understanding of the build process whatever development environment you are using. It'll also cover some of the execution mechanisms which most applications rely on.
