Hello and thank you to everyone in the group. I hope you are all enjoying a fabulous festive time.

 

As we go in to 2012 I'd like to make sure that the group reflects the sort of things that people in the group want to do. 

I have had some good suggestions - like maybe Sunday lunches in a pub once a month - with a walk for those who fancy it? Cinema on a Wednesday instead of a Friday?

 

At the moment we tend to be National Trust meetings and Home events (supper group and mulled wine are both well attended). 

Can I remind you that ANYONE can place an event online - I'm not a walker - but if you are - post and suggest one, in equal measure I know one member enjoys badminton - any other takers? Either post an event or ask me to do it.

I'm also going to look into tickets - I don't have a paypal account - and therefore don't take money centrally for tickets etc - but there may be a way to reserve - say 4 tickets at the Hawth for some events where we can all get our own and be sure of sitting together.

 

So please - shout scream or e mail me if you fancy doing something different. 

There is also a social group Horsham - have a look at that one too - who knows - they may be doing something you fancy.

 

Please keep coming (or consider coming along if you have not done so yet) to events - Its been a great 2011.
