Writing offers the opportunity to capture and preserve fleeting encounters with our own deep wisdom. The practices of Zen help us to slow down, be still and be present. Zen brings about a state of calm attentiveness so one can be guided by intuition. With intention, silence can become a vessel for reflection and discernment. During this session, we will contemplate our deepest soul whispers and play with ways to write about our experiences from within silence.

For this session come with a notebook and pen, or another favorite writing device. No writing experience is necessary.

  • Fireside Chats: Wisdom of the Oracle 2nd & 4th Sundays @ 7:00 PM EST (CAN/US)

Oracle and Tarot cards are a tool that connect my strategic brain with my intuitive soul. They share messages, ignite a desire, guide your decisions or confirm your intuition.

Come explore Tarot and Oracle cards. I will choose a different deck from my collection each session. During this zoom session, we will play with the cards and share the magic that can be found by interpreting what comes to light. One lucky person will be spotlighted and receive a three-card reading.

It is a wonderful place to share your thoughts, develop your intuition and hang out with great people! As your host, I would be so honoured to have you connect with us.

To search out some of the other cards I use for readings, have a look at my card menu and book an in-depth reading for yourself.
    https://annapilon.com/dream-readings/

    ABOUT ANNA:
I had spent four decades dedicated to various responsibilities and jobs, none of which was particularly fulfilling. I realized I was not living my dream life or living consciously. I was merely going through the motions and had lost what was once so important to me. Once I began to live purposefully, life became magical. My calling is connecting my strategic mind with my intuition. This allows me to interpret the secrets tarot and oracle cards will reveal for you. My eudaimonia, that which brings me joy, has always been the fascination with people’s stories, listening to others and brainstorming solutions to struggles.
Reading cards and using my intuition has been a hobby since I was a teenager. Even using an ordinary deck of playing cards, my friends and I would “see” what the future could look like for us. This lifelong interest grows every time I pick up a new deck.

  • A Course in Miracles Discussion Group @ 3:00 PM EST (CAN/US)

Would you like to feel peaceful even in difficult circumstances? Would you like to feel more connected to your Source?

In this online discussion we delve into how A Course in Miracles can enhance our spiritual journey and teach us peace in the midst of chaos.

    ABOUT A COURSE IN MIRACLES
“It..aims...at removing the blocks to the awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all encompassing can have no opposite.

This Course can therefore be summed up very simply in this way:
    Nothing real can be threatened.
    Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.” (T-In.1:7-8,2:1-4)

A Course In Miracles (ACIM) is a unique spiritual self-study program designed to awaken us to the truth of our oneness with God and Love. It teaches that the way to universal love and peace—or remembering God—is by undoing guilt through forgiving others.

The Course thus focuses on the healing of relationships and making them holy. ACIM also emphasizes that it is but one version of the universal curriculum, of which there are “many thousands.”

The language of the Course is of traditional Christianity while it expresses a non-sectarian, non-denominational spirituality. ACIM is a universal spiritual teaching, not a religion.

    Access course material here: https://acim.org/workbook-lessons-overview/workbook-table-of-contents/

    ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Johan Koeslag has searched for meaning, direction, sanctuary, himself, a soul journey, peace from the time he first questioned the status quo through traditional church, family life, work and now. That search led him to A Course in Miracles and it has been a focus of his life for many years.

His mentors and students have been invaluable fellow travelers. By sharing and teaching the course its application comes to life. Johan’s gentle approach to discussing the principles and essentials of ACIM, as well as its concepts and meaning, empowers fellow seekers to look at things differently.

Johan Koeslag has 15 years of experience working with A Course in Miracles. He finds it truly life changing.

  • Coffee & Meaningful Conversation @ 1:30 PM EDT - This week's topic is Cooking

    This week’s topic is Cooking
    Are you good at cooking?
What are you the best at cooking?
What are you the worst at cooking?
What was your most epic cooking failure?
Who is the best cook you know?
What would others say your best ‘dish’ is?

You are warmly invited into meaningful discussion with others while exploring some deeper perspectives along the way.

Creating Connection West (Vancouver) hosts this safe, casual, inclusive, and accepting online group, where dialogue is encouraged over debate, and each person is encouraged to share openly from their own diverse understandings and experiences.

Folks in this group enjoy going beyond small talk, reflecting both inward and outward, helping build pathways for more peace and understanding in the world... and your voice matters! Diverse perspectives, beliefs (or creeds) are most welcome.

Whether to discover yourself amidst a community on a common journey or to find meaning among new friends, there is room at the table for you.

    SESSION FORMAT
    - Introductions
    - Overview of discussion etiquette
    - Ice Breaker topic - a light topic to get us warmed up
    - Featured topic - each person is invited to take a turn sharing as the group holds space open for thought and active listening.
    - Visiting and back and forth questions.
