Creative Cafe is about having fun and engaging with interesting people through creative events.

With a focus on writing and performance, Creative Cafe Austria colloborates with writers, musicians, and artists of every kind to build a thriving creative community in Vienna, Austria.

Some Creative Cafe Meetup events are free, others might charge a fee to cover anything from venue hire, Meetup dues, organiser expenses, materials, professional services, etc. Any Meetup fees are shown on the Meetup posting. Generally, our meetups are run in English.

For all of the emerging writers, frustrated writers, occasional writers, hopeful writers – this is a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded people and enjoy the creative buzz of getting words on the page. What we offer Sunday Writers’ Club offers inspirational one-hour creative writing sessions in a variety of Vienna’s culture-rich cafes. At each creative writing session, you will receive our exclusive cafe ‘menu’ of writing prompts carefully prepared to stimulate your imagination and inspire creativity. You will not only have fun and improve your writing through exploring the prompts, the journey just might lead you on to your next big writing project! Who we are Sunday Writers’ Club is a registered non-profit club based in Vienna, Austria (Kulturverein Sunday Writes’ Club, ZVR-Zahl:[masked]) . The purpose of the club is to foster a thriving English-language creative writing community in Austria with a global reach. The club is committed to enriching members’ writing experience and skills through various cultural activities including: creative writing sessions writing workshops and courses events, retreats, competitions, presentations, and festivals production, publication, and sale of various print / digital media Since its unofficial beginning in 2018, Sunday Writers’ Club has flourished as a writing community. With the official club launch coinciding with the club’s 2nd birthday celebration in September 2020, the committee continues to pursue the club’s objectives and support members on their writing journey.
