The Creative Camera Club is a small, interactive community of seriously enthusiastic and committed photographers. We meet monthly and enjoy presentations on various subjects intended to develop our interests, vision, imagination and camera skills. As a further part of the meeting, three topics are set for the next month - Creative, Open and Shoot. Images submitted are viewed at the meeting and independently judged by experts - they give valuable feedback and comment, as well as awarding scores. These scores are collated to allow each photographer to be ranked and with time, to progress.
We also hold workshops on skills such as camera technique and post processing - these generally take place once a quarter.
As we are seeking new members, we are opening up the shoots and workshops to non-members for a limited time. This will be a great opportunity for photographers of all skill levels to come and meet club members and shoot images - all within a friendly and non-threatening environment.
Club nights are the first Monday each month at the False Bay Underwater Club. 32 Belper Rd, Wynberg, Cape Town, 7800 (literally under the Wetton Road bridge over the railway). More information at http://creativecameraclub.co.za/ or Meetup message me.
The Creative Camera Club is affiliated to the Photographic Society of South Africa.
This is our first shoot for the year and will take place at Zone 7 (off the N7, van Schoorsdrift Rd, outside Tableview).
This promises to be great fun with lots of opportunity for action shots. Come along and bring your camera no matter what your level of expertise is - there is always someone who will help.
