Aspen Grove Community Church
181 W. County Line Rd, Littleton, CO (map)

Our Speaker is Dan Miller - CIPA President

The current revolution in the publishing industry represents business opportunities for many creative small businesses. Dan Miller, the president of the Colorado Independent Publishers Associations (CIPA), will identify ways in which creative individuals can connect to writers who want to independently publish their books, to authors and independent publishers who want to improve their marketing and sales, and to other businesses that provide services to authors and independent publishers.

Dr. Dan Miller currently is the president of the Colorado Independent Publishers Association (CIPA). He is a freelance consultant on the business of independent publishing.

As the co-founder and co-owner of Integrated Writer Services, LLC, he consults on practices and procedures needed to create and operate a successful independent publishing business. And more important to this group, he frequently recommends creative people who can provide services to writers, authors, independent publishers, and other service providers.

Dan has been a consultant on computer and telecommunications systems to architects. He was the former president of the Center for Educational Technologies, the executive director of NASA's Classroom of the Future, a university professor and academic department chair, an educational researcher, and a classroom teacher. He also served in the US Air Force as a radar technician.
