What we're about

NOTICE: Due to the issues with Meetup, CVPW will be leaving the Meetup application at the end of 2020. We have a website that is used to announce our events and membership is FREE. Please begin the transition to that site so that you'll continue to see our events and receive our emails.

That site is https://www.cvpwrocks.com

Everyone has a camera. They are inexpensive, portable and, in most cases, come on our smartphones. So what makes one photograph work and another one doesn't? There's no one answer. What this meetup group will do is provide you the opportunity to enhance your equipment skills as well as your vision. Come join us for a fun experience.

Despite their stories, they still trust humans. We will have access to the entire farm (70-80 horses) with a short 15 minute guided tour to answer questions and provide some history. All proceeds from this event WILL BE DONATED to Starry Skies to support their rescue and sanctuary. Starry Skies Equine Rescue and Sanctuary is a public non-profit 501(c)(3). Their mission is to divert equines from the slaughter pipeline, providing rehabbing, training and placement for appropriate equines. They are dedicated to providing end of life care and services for those equines not suitable for private homes.
