Spoken Word Open Mic
Come and join us for an intimate, creative and inspiring evening of ‘words, words, words’ at La Minga, a chilled South American themed bar with a beautiful ambience.
This is not your regular spoke word event - we've opened it up to writers, poets, actors, comedians, improvisers and story tellers. Expect to see some of the hottest creative talent in Berlin.
Performers
We’re looking for writer-performers who will share their:
• Performance poetry
• Narratives / story telling
• Monologues
• Spoken lyrics / translations
• Prose poetry
• Supershort stories / microfiction
• Rehearsed reading of a script (inc. multiple actors)
• Playful, word-based comedy or improv
• Excerpts from work in progress
OR, you’re a performer and you’d like to breathe life into someone else’s words. To guarantee a spot and / or to run an idea past me email Geoff @ editor@silverscipt.co.uk or turn up before 8pm to sign up on the night.
Recommended performance time is between 2-5 mins, but there may be an opportunity to perform more than one piece if numbers allow.
This is a free event, but you will be invited to make a voluntary contribution at the end of the evening 😊
