Michelle Levy is an environmental educator for Sheldrake Environmental Center, a book editor, and a writing coach. Her nonfiction essays have have appeared in Hippocampus Magazine, City Creatures, and GoNomad, and another is forthcoming in Saltfront Magazine.
During our time, we will ponder the contrast between manicured gardens and untamed spaces. We will do brief meditations and sensory awareness exercises to open the channels of communication before a writing session beside the pond. Our adventure concludes with a labyrinth walk.
The address in Hartsdale will be given to participants once payment is received.
Prepare for a moderate walk and sitting on the ground. Hikers join at their own risk. No one will be left behind. $15/person for nature guide, materials, and snacks. BYO bug spray. Please bring one liter of drinking water. No one will be permitted on the walk without their own water.
