This is an 8 week class, 6:30-9:3pm, costing only $69.
Purpose of the Course
In this course, students take the plans they created from the previous semester and actually complete those plans by finishing and editing their books, preparing the manuscript for submission, submitting manuscripts, completing biographies,
query letters, and press releases as well as putting marketing plans in
action. We will also create full marketing kits, websites, create blogs, and set up events. This class is a workshop. This class is meant to be a follow up from Class I, where we implement steps to get the book published, promoted, and sold. As such, each student may be at a different place in their work. We will work with each student where they need help to move them towards accomplishment.
Computers will be used in the classroom.
This class is a workshop; we do the work within the class.
We help students edit and perfect their book projects for submission, implement
the publishing plan, create marketing plans and carry out specific projects, such as website and blog creation. We implement promotion strategies such as public speaking and/or other passive marketing, complete their marketing and promotion kit, schedule and create events.
