What we're about

We are your Partners...

We are a community of Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, technologists, engineers, venture capitalists, angel investors, educators, financial professionals, corporate executives, attorneys, startuppers, creatives, business people, academics, bloggers, writers, content creators, and social activists, along with financial geniuses -- who set out to change the way we finance early stage companies.

Entrepreneurship permeates the culture of Silicon Valley -- the innovation capital of the world. Taking a startup from idea to IPO has taken on mythical proportions in Silicon Valley. Many dream the dream, with hopes of launching the "next big thing". And our crowdfunding community helps makes this dream come true.

This is the American Dream writ large. Extra extra Large ... indeed.

We are a community of entrepreneurs, technologists, academics, financial professionals, business writers, venture capitalists, investors, attorneys, consultants, and corporate executives.

We meet regularly to share resources, exchange ideas, and network. We participate in both on-line and off-line events.

Our events feature expert speakers, networking opportunities, collaboration, community, and fellowship.

Our mission is to provide entrepreneurs with the knowledge, guidance, tools, and connections they need to succeed. Our goal is to build a strong, vibrant, collaborative entrepreneurial community with deep, lasting business and social relationships throughout Silicon Valley and beyond.

This MeetUp group also aims to bring together all the leaders in the crowdfunding industry of Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Northern California, and beyond who believe in the adundance of Innovation, Life, and Entrepreneurship.

If you want to raise money through crowdfunding come and share your ideas and needs, and also speak directly to the experts, to make these ideas your reality.

Let's Get Together To Talk...

Lets get excited about the potential positive outcomes of the last Vote of the SEC about Title IV, that will legalize Equity Crowdfunding -- once of course it has been properly administered through the meat grinder of public policy and laws turned into regulation and street actions and reaction....

Somebody said making or watching the making of Public Policy, Laws and regulations, is akin to making sausage. In short, it takes a strong stomach... and I hope you have it.

So come one and all and let's gather together and speak with the experts, and the ones who need to have their crowdfunding needs met.

Come to catch up with our CrowdFunding Community, find your resources, get your funding needs met, and then build your business and enjoy the Life of that unique beast: The Funded Entrepreneur.

This is an Equity Crowd Funding Platform, for the New Generation of StartUps that respect their Roots and understand the Crowdsourced method of our Intelligence... because if our customers are our supporters then we are already in a better place.

The Logic is simple: We live in communities - why not allow those same communities to support our efforts?

The Math is equally simple: A little bit of capital and a bot of sweat equity -- coming from a lot of different sources allows us to progress in the old fashioned way like building a cathedral.

We're all about: Alternative Investments · Entrepreneurship ·Raising Capital · Crowdfunding · Fund Raising · Startup Businesses · Seed Funding · Technology Startups · Funding · Crowd Funding · Startups - Kickstarter · Angel Investing · Startup Financing · Equity-based Crowdfunding · Discussing how Crowdfunding works · Using Crowdfunding to Fund Creative Projects, etc

Ideas, questions, and solutions that we need to think about and find answers to, abound. Yet here are the most basic ones that we need to solve before we proceed because we've seen this movie before and it ended badly....

We want to specifically discuss what is the effect of the new Crowdfunding rules voted on by the SEC on the Early Stage Investment Marketplace and P2P Lending...

• Can we create a large number of special purpose vehicles that sell to the general public $1mil of loans without any registration ?

• Loan backed securities ... are they securities ?

• Effect of easy to get public financing for startups ?

• Effect on valuations ?

• Effect on the angel rounds ?

• Effect on Team Building ?

• Effect of Successful Crowd-Fundraising ?

• Effect on follow on VC rounds ?

• Why were these SEC rules put in place in 1933 anyway ?

• How does this compare to the 2001 VC bubble ?

• How convertible notes figure in this one ?

• How is Equity principles are affected when crowdfunded and shared ?

• Let's Get Together To Talk...

Let's get together because its been a while since our last networking event and we miss you -- so let's get together to talk...
