Croydon Eats Out takes you on a seasonal tour of some of the best Sunday lunches that Croydon has to offer over 4 months.

It's winter and there is no season better to indulge ourselves in a hearty Sunday feast. So throughout the winter months, Croydon Eats Out will plough through the snow and fight bitter winds and eat roasted meat and vegetables (unless you are a vegetarian, in which case just the vegetables).

Our first of four trips will take us to The White Bear, a fantastic country pub which serves superb food (speaking from experience).

Travel:

If you are arriving by car, if you can offer a lift to anyone, please say so in the comments below. The venue is quite difficult to get to by public transport so, car drivers, you are most needed!

Important notes:

• If you will be arriving after 12:45pm, please send Christo (Organiser) a heads-up message. Sometimes restaurants request that unoccupied places are put up for grabs for walk-in customers so your place can't be guarantied if you're unexpectedly late.

• The organiser fee of £2 will be collected on the day, so please bring some coinage.

• If you cannot come, please change your RSVP in advance. This ensures members aren't disappointed in missing out. Regular "No-Shows", those who RSVP yes but don't turn up, will be removed from the group to enhance the experience for others.
