VR Maker Workshop

A day long VR Maker Workshop.

In a day long workshop we will go through the creation of a simple project and build it to an app.

10:00 am to 12 pm - Intro to VR development using Unity 3D
Introduction to Unity 3D Engine and create a simple project
(Repeat of the Fall "Intro to Unity for VR" Meetup)

12:00 pm - Go Grab lunch - bring back and eat with colleagues

1 pm to 4 pm - VR App mini-Maker Workshop
Take a simple project and build it to an app.

FAQ:
Will I need a laptop?
We recommend bringing your own computer. This way you can build your development environment on your machine and can continue development at home. Specs to come.

What if I don't have a laptop?
You can bring your tower (please let us know beforehand), or let us know if you don't have a tower or laptop and we can do something. (If you are a lucky person and have a computer to lend, please offer)

Can I just come to the Maker part in the afternoon?
Sure. If you didn't attend the previous "Intro to Unity for VR" Workshop, you might be a little lost. But there will be some kind souls to help you follow along and leave with an app.
