Dear friends,
Here we go - this one is going to be a bit more tech-oriented :)

Agenda:
6:00 PM - 6:30 PM
6:30 PM and on - Tech Talks:

"Designing real-life blockchain smart contracts" / Adam Zigdon, Blockchain Team Leader @ Securitize

Candid talk from a full hands-on blockchain team leader. Usually, when talking about a smart contract (Ethereum codes and ICOs), we will be looking at one or two simple contracts. But what happens when we have 12 contracts, or 20, or 50, and they are all complex? And what happens if we cross the max size for an Ethereum contract? How to handle bugs in smart contracts which are on production?

This is not a theoretical talk. Adam Zigdon will bring real stories of real clients, with real issuances, and very real investors.(*)

(*) For those of you who are not blockchain developers: we will dedicate 2 minutes to explaining and showing how a smart contract looks :)

"Compliance in STO's - from a CTO's hands-on experience" a fireside chat with Shay Finkelstein, CTO @ Securitize

Anyone who knows a bit about Security Token Offerings, recognizes the 2 big differences between a STO and an ICO. One is that a STO represents assets and equity, and not utilities. The other difference, arising from the first one: a STO codifies compliance to the Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC) regulations of the world.

Compliance needs to exists not only in the registration phase, but has to follow throughout the whole process - following the investor himself throughout his lifecycle as an investor: On the blockchain, when trading peer to peer, when trading in Exchanges.

How does compliance work with STOs is something that only a few people in the world can tell about from their own experience. Shay Finkelstein, co-founder & CTO @Securitize is one of them.
