This is first networking event with pure focus on cryptocurrency mining as part of Berlin Blockchain Week.

Presented by Denis Rusinovich: former IFI banker with EBRD for 12 years, later worked in traditional precious and rear earth metals mining and private equity. With cryptocurrency industry since 2017 and industrial scale BTC mining in particular. Currently director for DDH Digital Data Hub, a Berlin based company with focus on HPC services: blockchain applications, AI, rendering through access to own and partner network of data center facilities. Also co-founder of I&D Media and Digital Assets Advisory: with focus on BTC ecosystem and blockchain in arts/media sectors.

3. Presentation on 'What constitutes a mining pool' by Alejandro De La Torre from Poolin.com
Alejandro De La Torre: 7 years of cryptocurrency industry experience with multiple acquisitions. Currently VP at Poolin.com a multi-currency mining pool, number one in Litecoin, Zcash third in bitcoin. We mine many other coins as well with a strong affinity with POW coins in particular. Poolin’s mission is to redefine the mining pool industry with the best in-house knowledge and expertise, excellent customer support and a unwavering focus to bring decentralization to all. Previously Alejandro was co-founder and VP of BTC.com & BD at Blocktrail.

4. "Green Cryptomining: the value of P.O.W without burning fossil fuels."
Presentation by Malcolm Cannon
Malcolm Cannon: CMO, Cyberian Mine. Spent a decade as a Commercial Copywriter, then six years as a Growth Specialist. In 2016 he made his first crypto investments, and by the end of 2017 he began focusing his activity to all things blockchain. In 2018 he co-founded a crypto fund on the ICONOMI investment platform, and became an Angel Investor and CMO for Cyberian Mine. Recently Malcolm helped close Cyberian Mine's €4.7M Post-money valuation Seed Round and prior to that he built the Growth Team at CareerFoundry leading to their €4M raise at Series A. Cyberian Mine is a Berlin startup committed to mining cryptocurrencies, without burning fossil fuels.
