Token Talk With Tracie - Quorum J.P. Morgan Coin

In this Token Talk with Tracie session, we will discuss JPMCoin, the token deployed by J.P. Morgan Chase in February 2019. The early applications of the token include international payments, securities transactions, and treasury services.

J.P Morgan is betting that its first-mover status and large market share in corporate payments — it banks 80 percent of the companies in the Fortune 500 — will give its technology a good chance of getting adopted, even if other banks create their own coins.

This session will also give an Introduction to Quorum, a permissioned version of Ethereum built for enterprise.

Developed by J.P. Morgan., Quorum is an open source fork of the Ethereum blockchain based on the Go Ethereum implementation. It is ideal for any application requiring high speed and high throughput processing of private transactions within a permissioned group of known participants.
