Join us to celebrate Doors Open with a quirky scavenger hunt that will teach you all about the Arts Resource Centre's unique history.

Cuban Culture IRL: Learn the basics of Cuban dance, all dance levels are welcome! Cuban Culture IRL is part of Culture In Real Life, where opportunities for meaningful cultural exchange take place through classes, workshops, and projects. This program is organized by Stephanie Pollard, a member of the City’s Cultural Leadership Council.

Wandering Memory Arts Project led by ARC Arts Instructors

Exploring Indigenous Culture Through Music with All Our Relations Métis Drum Circle. Learn how to hand drum, dance a jigg or make music with a wooden spoon to a series of songs from Metis and First Nations cultures and languages. This program is organized by All Our Relation Metis Drum Circle and Marcerie Riel, a member of the Cultural Leadership Council.

Zine Culture with Durham Region Writing Rainbow. Make pages for the first ever Culture Days zine, or your own collection, and browse Writing Rainbow’s collection of zines for inspiration.
