What we're about

20 mile road ride (out and back) along the Ballona Creek river bed and bike path. 10 miles out, 10 miles back to the start. Ride goes to the Manhattan beach pier and back to Sawtelle and Culver Dr.
Pace will range from 13mph to 18mph depending on the level of riders who show up. Group will regroup at the pier.
Ride leader will help beginner cyclists figure out their range and fitness levels and will help those who fall back or are looking to learn the skill of group riding.

Ride leader has been cycling for over 14 years and has lots of experience with beginners and intermediate riders of all age groups. Ride leader has been cycling with Shepherd Church Road (Saturday 8am, 60 miles) in Porter Ranch for the last 7 years and has been a consistent rider who has helped the group stay safe and grow throughout. All are welcome, tone will be welcoming and respectful to all who attend. All ages welcome. Helmet, water bottles, small snacks required. Oatmeal, banana, toast or cereal is good before the ride along with a full water bottle. Peanut butter/banana half sandwich, dates, bananas, meal bars, or bagel is good fuel for a ride of this type. Ride can take any where from 1 hour to 90 minutes depending on your fitness level.
