This is a group for people who want to - learn to be better cyclists, improve the cycling culture, learn more about cycling safety (both on a skill and dealing with traffic level) and ride with a fantastic group of dedicated people, all while helping to fund cure research for various chronic diseases.

Tire Change Clinic - Hands on

Circle City Bicycles

Hands on Clinic to learn how to fix your own flat on the road. You will be able to change a tire without help after this class. You will need a few supplies for this clinic: - at least 2 inner tubes that fit your tire (number on side of rubber tire, most road bikes are 700x25). - at least 2 CO2 inflator cartridges. - at least 2 tire levers. - CO2 chuck bike tire inflator. - Your own bicycle, the one your are riding this summer - we want to make sure you can do this on the bike you ride. If you need any gear for the class simply tell the shop you are with the meetup to get a discount! Let me know if you have questions. Coach Scott

Beginner Ride - get your feet wet with a great group

Circle City Bicycles

This is a social 1 hour ride designed to get beginners out enjoying their bikes while learning. - Bike Safety - Road Safety - Group Riding - Basic Shifting & Bike Handling • Helmets are required • Bring Water or you favorite sports beverage • Kickstands up at 6pm and rolling • Get there early if you have questions, buy some gear with our meetup discount, and so you don't miss the safety talk from one our experience ride leaders. We ride out 30 minutes thru residential neighborhood, turn around and ride back - The more you do this ride the farther you will go in that time! No Rider Left Behind - This is a no drop ride. If you have not done so already, please sign our waiver at the following link Sign Waiver Here (https://app.waiverforever.com/pending/UyamYeOrRs1384742255) This waiver is required to ride with our group as a condition of our insurance. Please be mindful that this is a Cure Chasers Cycling “Repeating” ride. If you are a Cure Chasers Cycling member, please make sure you have renewed your yearly membership ( http://www.indianacurechasers.org ). It is not necessary to be a Cure Chasers Cycling Team member to join us on these rides and take advantage of the qualified coaching and support that is provided, we do appreciate all the support that you can provide to help defray the costs associated with running these rides. Cure Chasers Cycling memberships and funds go to help defray the cost of administration, USA Cycling Membership, Insurance, Meetup fees and other incidental expenses necessary for the continued operation of this organization. Excess funds are used in the promotion of Cure related charities. We want to thank all of our volunteers, who selflessly give of their time, talent and pocketbooks to promote cycling, this meetup and efforts for various cures! Blue Tuesday Hill Training!

Southwestway Park

This ride is a great place to learn riding hills! Important Notes • if you are going to be late you can start from Daniels Market listed below, the group generally will ride by there between 6:20 & 6:30 and you can jump in. • if beginner hill climbers would let me know that they intend to be there, we’ll have a ride leader at the beginner start by 6pm to help you out. Flat Thursdays! - Intermediate and Up

Coxhall Gardens

This is a pancake flat route that meets by the restrooms at Cox Hall Gardens Park. The Pace is 16-19 mph average (Note - this is not top speed but the average speed). Please fill out the Cure Chasers Cycling waiver if you plan to ride https://app.waiverforever.com/pending/UyamYeOrRs1384742255 Road Bikes are the order of the day, this is a no rider left behind so be sure to be on the right kind of bike. The ride: • will last about 2 hours • cover 30+ miles Be sure to bring • Road Bike required • Helmet • 2 Water bottles – filled with your favorite sports beverage • Tires filled with Air (or bring a pump) • A good pair of cycling shorts • Cycling-specific shoes - A small pack or saddle bag to carry things needed to change a flat tire, including: - Spare tube - Tire levers - CO2 cartridge (or small pump) Post any questions here See you at the Park!
