Hey Shad0ws! This month you are in for a treat. What if we told you, you can play a fun card game while at the time learning cybersecurity and incident response concepts? You would probably think we are full of it, but our awesome friends at Black Hills Information Security has developed such a game! It is none other than "Backdoors & Breaches"! This meetup we are excited to get together and play rounds of backdoors & breaches. Your incident response skills will be put to the test as we break everyone up in groups, assign an incident mater, and roll the dice for IR glory! The goal of the game is to unveil all of the incident cards that the incident master has selected in order to determine the following: ► The Initial Compromise ► The Persistence ► How the attacker Pivoted and Escalated ► The form of C2 and Exfil However, the incident responders only have 10 rolls. If they fail to unveil them all by 10 rolls, they lose! We hope you come and join us for a night of fun! We are sure you will walk away with some new incident response and even attacker based concepts! We highly encourage you to check out the instructions for the game prior to coming, that way you have an understanding and can jump right in: https://www.blackhillsinfosec.com/projects/backdoorsandbreaches/ A massive thanks goes to Black Hills Information Security for being so generous and donating us a ton of decks so we can hold this event! See you soon! MONTHLY CTF: Our very own Keramas will also be standing up a Net King of the Hill CTF. It's meant to be casual so play/hack as you like. He's custom made 4 boxes (2 *nix, 2 windows) + a hidden domain controller. If you aren't familiar with Net King of the Hill, he'll explain a bit about it at the meetup and will have some stickers if you get a high score or dump the DC. FOOD & REFRESHMENTS: As always, food and refreshments will be provided by our amazing sponsor ISSA - Las Vegas. We highly recommend you check them out! Their next event will be on April 15th. AGE REQUIREMENT: Per Innevation's policy, all attendees must be 16 years of age or older regardless of having a parent or chaperone. We ask that all attendees please respect Innevation and their policy. Thank you!
