The Start-Up Lab is a highly structured approach to start-up creation that not only combines a proven methodology but also ensures that there is dedicated funding for the best ideas and teams and that the necessary technology resources for the teams are available.
The objective of the Start-up Lab Competition is to use this as an initiator to strengthen our highly connected ecosystem in San Diego of incubators, educational institutions, funding entities, corporations,
We are currently looking for and are engaging with education partners such as you to collaborate with us to stand up the Education Track of the Start-up Lab competition. The value to the educational institutions lies

The 1st Start-up Lab competition will kick off on December 8, 2018 and start formally in January 2019 and will front-end the marquee "Securing the Smart City: International Best Practices" event from March 20th -- 22nd 2019 co-sponsored by the City of San Diego, CyberTech and ConsenSys.
A final pitchfest of participants will be on March 20th with some of the conference VIP guests as judges with local investment entities, as well as ConsenSys Labs & Consensys Ventures present to evaluate investment potential of the MVPs.
