PLEASE NOTE: In light of the government's order to suspend all gatherings due to the COVID-19 virus, we have decided to postpone all Cycling Connection group rides until further notice. Thanks for your understanding.
Cycling Connection is a recreational road cycling club with riders of all speeds and abilities from Newbies to Cat 1 and Masters Categories.
This is a 23 mile ride at a moderate to frisky pace with an avg. speed of about 15 to 18 mph for complete ride with 2 regroups and nobody left behind! Great training ride or just a recovery ride! We meet at Euro Cafe ready to roll at 6:30 pm.
As always, we have three ride options:
23 mile short ride with a regroup at Alta Loma High school
30 mile medium ride with mild climbing up Mills to Padua with a regroup at the top
33 mile long ride that climbs up Mills to Shinn with a regroup at the top
Helmets are always required. This ride will be cancelled if it is raining at the start.
Our Sunday rides meet at the intersection of Day Creek and Baseline in Rancho Cucamonga at Starbucks.
Sunday Rides are usually led by Les Schoenfelder. These are intermediate paced rides with an average pace of 17 to 18 miles per hour. Helmets are required. Rides will automatically be cancelled if it is raining at the start of the ride.
Every Monday night at 6:30pm Incycle hosts an all levels, no drop, ride through Upland, Alta Loma, and Rancho Cucamonga. This route is 20 to 25 miles arranged around three short climbs with a regroup at the top of each. Riders are encouraged to stick around after the ride for social hour at 66.
