What we're about
If you fancy joining a Meetup cycling group in Edinburgh that does mainly flat routes, where it's OK to get off and walk up any (small) hills there might be, where we stop sometimes just to look at or take a picture of a part of the city we've never seen before, then perhaps we're for you. This group has been set up to do short, easy runs at weekends which always involve a stop for lunch or tea and cake and a chance to meet new people who share an interest in cycling and the outdoors. We charge a £3/year membership fee to cover the $180/year Meetup charges to use the website.
Typical Rides? Easy, flattish routes, starting usually from a central point, and medium distances of around 10-20 miles - always with a break for lunch/snack/cake! Usually weekends, although some summer mid-week rides might also be arranged. Wear comfortable clothes and, as it's Scotland, pack a waterproof layer too!
Thanks to Mark at Spokes Edinburgh for allowing us to use his excellent map on our page.
