Winterville, NC 28590Randall Etheridge is an associate professor in the Department of Engineering and the Center for Sustainable Energy and Environmental Engineering. A native of eastern NC, he leads the environmental engineering concentration at ECU. His research focuses on helping communities in eastern North Carolina address flooding and water quality issues.
His research team has recently been working on combining new technology with nature-based solutions to store flood waters, treat wastewater from aquaculture and municipal sources, and meet other goals such as maximizing crop or tree growth, and developed multiple design options for the reduction of flooding in the Lake Mattamuskeet watershed.
