Please join us at the presentation by Prof. Kajal Lahiri, Distinguished Professor of Economics at the University at Albany. Prof. Lahiri is a reputed professor of economics; he has authored 120+ articles and books, including the widely-used "Introduction to Econometrics" (4th ed., co-authored with G.S. Maddala). He is an Honorary Fellow of the International Institute of Forecasters and a Fellow of CESifo Univ. of Munich Research Network. Prof. Lahiri received grants from National Science Foundation, National Academy of Sciences, National Institutes of Health, Ford Foundation, World Bank, and many other organizations. His current research deals with economic forecasting, health and disability.
On Sept 21st Prof. Lahiri will talk about evaluation methods in different types of binary prediction models, which will help all analytic practitioners, researchers, and students.
