An Intro to GovLab with Alan Kantrow and Andrew Young

The Governance Lab at NYU aims to improve people’s lives by changing how we govern. We are seeking new ways to solve public problems using advances in technology and science.

In this talk we'll explore GovLab's work around the world on innovative, disruptive, technology-enabled approaches to the processes of governance. We'll also talk about the special contributions that developers can make to help overcome obstacles to open government, as its clear that those who aspire to lead such efforts need both technical sophistication, and comfort in the orchestration of social processes.
