Robotic Process Automation (RPA) along with AI, will radically alter the landscape of work in the next 30 years. According to McKinsey, “50% of current work activities are technically automatable by adapting currently demonstrated technologies”. Implementing automation programs, however, can be very difficult and fraught with pitfalls.
DC Area RPA Enthusiasts is a group of business leaders, RPA developers, AI experts, and business process specialists who meet to share experiences, best practices and new technology break-throughs in this exciting area.
Have you ever thought, ‘Wow, RPA sounds really cool, but what would I really be able to automate?’ Identifying the right use case and knowing up front (before lots of investment) whether you can or should automation something is a key step in the automation journey.
Please join us as Jim Frost, Solutions Architect, R-Path Automation, shares his company’s process for answering these questions. Jim will also take us through the process of designing an RPA script and will demo a script that contains many of the most common tasks that people want to automate.
