Blender Project Hour: Tutorial on Physics Engine
Come and join us as we explore the world of computer graphics production with Blender! This meetup, Reed will be doing a tutorial on the Blender Physics Engine. Here is the outline of the class: --- This class will be a step by step, hands-on demo suitable for all skill levels. We’ll start by making simple gravity simulations in the Blender Physics system and then move on to have objects knock things down, bounce, fly and act like cloth. Lastly, we'll see how these simulations can easily be converted to keyframes for complex animations. --- Please note that we will be meeting at Glebe small meeting room on first floor of Arlington Central Library.

What we're about

A group for exploring Blender, the free and open-source 3D modeling and animation software. We meet for community lectures, demonstrations, and to exchange tips and techniques, as well as for more general CG art discussions. Happy blending!
