What we're about

The DC Chronic Pain Peer Support group aims to provide a safe and supportive space for people in the DC area to interact, learn, and socialize with others who live with chronic pain. People living with chronic pain often have common experiences that are difficult to describe and communicate with others. Living with pain can also be isolating, which makes support systems crucially important. By sharing our experiences, I hope those of us with chronic pain can learn from and support each other. The group is open to anybody who has chronic pain, no matter the condition, severity, or duration.

We typically meet on the second Sunday of the month. All meeting locations are in DC, wheelchair accessible, and as close as possible to public transportation. Please help make our meetings a comfortable environment for everyone by not wearing scented products. If you have any additional accommodation needs, please let me know!

*Please note that this Meetup is only open to people experiencing chronic pain. If you are a practitioner/professional and are interested in sharing information with the group, please contact me directly.
