D.C Design and Coffee is an inclusive informal co-working session. People of all skill levels bring their personal projects--building an app, writing a blog, going through design tutorials. Feel free to come and work, help, socialize or just have a chat! There is an introduction period where we all say our names and what we're working on. And that's about where the structure ends, everything after that is self-organized.
Bring your laptop! We'll have coffee, pastries, and cool people to meet.
General Assembly and Code & Coffee would like to welcome you to the first installment of Design & Donuts; a monthly gathering for designers to learn, work, collaborate and grow, housed in General Assembly's brand-new campus in Chinatown.
Come join us for this exciting Grand Opening!
In the spirit, in this session we will focus on the themes of community and growth. We will discuss two topics: transitioning into UX and collaboration / community design.
The quick discussion will be followed by an hour of informal, networking, fun and collaboration! This is a great opportunity to brainstorm or work through issues you're experiencing with projects -- so bring your project, laptop and / or materials, as well.
