The Mega-BBQ - our biggest, baddest event of the YEAR

FOLKS. Due to a family emergency we are pushing this back one week. We might still host an event this Saturday elsewhere but the barbecue will be on JULY 1, not this week. Sorry for the inconvenience!

OK not our baddest because this one's kid-friendly. But definitely the best. J and E have offered to host a BBQ in their backyard. We'll do this as a potluck in classic Mormon style, except with WAY better drinks. Bring the kids, bring your special OTHER person, and let's get our community on. Think of this as our own little Exmo Duck Beach (if you don't know the reference ask any DC Mormon single person), without the sad coupling pressure. If you're new or an infrequent attendee, this is the event to get to know everyone, since we are ALL coming. RIGHT???!??? Don't make me send the apostate home teachers after you....

When you RSVP just add a comment for what you plan to bring. Big ticket stuff like meats will be arranged by the Relief Society (just kidding --- the co-ed anti-patriarchy equal opportunity planning committee). There will be lots to do so if you want a job, add a comment on that score, too!
