Growing out of the hugely success Great Canadian Data Centre Symposium 2018, DC Foresight is a community dedicated to developing Best Practice positions on the issues that are essential to data centre transformation.
In GCDCS18 - the "first annual' symposium - a group of more than 30 panelists, 22 sponsors and nearly 200 attendees engaged in discussion on the issues that shape data centre strategy: power, cooling, hybrid IT, facility design, edge, DCIM, Open Compute and data centre site location.
As we gear up for GCDCS19, we are assembling thought leaders in the community to develop Best Practice positions on these and related issues, including sustainability, security, management, economics...the topics that facility owners, operators and business management need to understand to plot a path forward in an economy increasingly dependent on IT service delivery.
Are you interested in being part of creating the guidance needed by professionals responsible for data centre strategy - in discussing these topics at focused meetups - in joining the DC thought leader community in Hamilton in June, 2019?
If so...DC Foresight is the meetup for you!
Who should join?
We are looking to assemble a community that includes thought leaders from all relevant constituencies: data centre operators (corporations, cloud/colo/hosting firms, specialized facility operators), suppliers (facility equipment and services firms, data centre engineers, and IT and communications equipment and services vendors), leading-edge users of data centre services (including, and especially, firms focused on IoT, Blockchain and Big Data), academics (university professors, graduate students and federal and provincial funding agencies), and relevant third parties (incubators, media/associations, consultants and other independent experts).
