Come join us at CHIEF for DCJS for "Intro to Typescript" by Kris Rivera!

This talk is an introduction to Typescript for JavaScript developers. Kris will provide a brief overview of the history of JavaScript, going from ES5, moving to ES6 and what was introduced there. Kris will then arrive at Typescript and cover what it offers as a superset of ES5 and ES6, as well as some of the basics of the language.

Kris is a Senior Software Engineer of 11 years who owns their own business, has developed two games with their partner, and is also a black belt in Shudokan Karate.
