Volunteer at Wreaths Across America clean up (Arlington Cemetery)

Each December, the Wreaths Across America organization and thousands of volunteers lay Christmas wreaths on headstones at ANC. With the season wrapping up, now we need volunteers to clean up the cemetery.
Cemetery gates will open at 8:00am. There will be a short briefing at 8:30am at the McClellan Arch Gate (near the entrance and shown on the map) and clean-up will begin right after that. We will be outdoors so dress for the weather.
What to Bring (recommended but not required):
-Water
-Gloves
- Item to support carrying multiple wreaths per dumpster trip. Some examples include: hockey stick, kayak/canoe paddle, rope, rake, etc.
After volunteering, we may get lunch at Pentagon Row. Feel free to provide recommendations!
