Volunteer at Bikes for the World

Join us at the Bikes for the World warehouse to help prep bikes for shipping overseas. No prior bike knowledge necessary; they will show you what you need to know! Come out and get familiar with basic bike parts and tools and help others overseas while you do.Prepping bikes for shipping involves taking the pedals off and loosening handlebars and other parts that make the bikes taller or wider. By reducing the footprint of the bikes they are able to pack more into a shipping container, therefore increasing the value of the donation.

Bikes for the World makes quality used bicycles and parts affordable and available to lower income people in developing countries and works to generate skilled employment in bicycle repair and maintenance overseas.
