Please join us and our special guests Alastair Thomson, CIO of NIH’s National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, John Turner, NIH NHLBI Contracting Officer, and Joshua Seckel, Chief of USCIS’s OIT Applied Technology Division, for a discussion on Agile procurement and procuring Agile development in the Federal government, to include a conversation around successful Agile Firm Fixed Price contracts among other effective Agile procurement examples.

Alastair, John, and Josh will provide us firsthand knowledge of their experiences and the vehicles and tools they have created at NIH NHLBI and USCIS to bring Agile to delivery and the procurement process itself. They have Agile Firm Fixed Price successes they will discuss as well as competitive modular examples and other creative contracting to enable agility. We will also provide ample time for open discussion and questions around procuring Agile delivery as well as Agile procurements because we are certain the first time they say “Agile FFP” someone is going to say “WHAT? Are you crazy?”
