Agile Estimation Techniques By Devin Hedge

Details

Join us for our October meeting as we warm up for AgileDC. Devin Hedge is one of the speakers at AgileDC and he is joining us for a discussion on estimation.

Description:

Managers facing teams adopting the Scrum approach to Agility often face a daunting question every executive wants to know, "How much is it going to cost and when am I going to get it?" The key cornerstone to answering these questions are Agile budgeting and Agile Estimation. In this session you will learn about the problems with traditional estimation techniques, the difficulties Scrum teams face in estimation, and then learn "The Awesome Singh Estimation Technique (TASET)" derived by BigVisible colleague Alex Singh. We will attempt to use the technique in the session to understand how it is applied, the benefits of using TASET over other estimation techniques, and pitfalls to avoid when use it.
