VMO: DC UL SNP Epsilon (~35 Miles) - DC UL Goes South - Doyles River Cabin

DC ULers!

This is the fifth of our DC UL SNP Alpha to Omega series. This Veteran Member Epsilon trip focuses on the South District and uses the PATC Doyles River Cabin as a base of operations for Saturday night.

Route TBD. It will focus on the upper half of the south district, setting up an Omega trip that will close the series out.

Meet at Vienna Metro North Parking at 7:00 p.m. on Friday night. Rough splits of 1-2 miles Friday to find a suitable campsite, 20 miles Saturday, ending at Doyles River Cabin, and 10-12 miles on Sunday back to the end point car shuttle.

*I have already booked Doyles River Cabin, one of PATC’s primitive cabins. I had to book for Friday and Saturday night per reservation policy, so we do have it for two nights in case that comes in handy in our planning.
