DC iOS Meetup #1

This is the first meetup for the new DC iOS meetup group. We have banded forces with the previously active DC Cocoaheads and MoDev groups. Capital One will be hosting this event and will be providing dinner to all attendees.

Presentation: Views in iOS: The Old World & the New
Speaker: Josip Injić, Principal iOS Engineer

Blurb: We come from a world where a holy war exists. A war between two ideologies. One depending heavily on interface builder and another that strictly believes in programmatic layouts. Together we'll go over the pros and cons of each. We'll dive in and get familiar with how to work with both of these methods. Then at the end we'll take a look at a new way. A Swift Way... A way that is destined to finally end the holy war that has existed since iOS 5.

Notes:
Parking will be available to all guests in the guest parking lot located on Capital One drive next to main entrance to the headquarters building. Once signed in with security on the 7th floor, proceed to the C8 conference room on the sixth floor where the meetup will take place. Dinner will be provided to all attendees.
