Introduction to winter backpacking trip in the gorgeous Dolly Sods

This is not a car and/or cabin camping trip, we will be on the move from star to end. For most one of the most desirable areas to hike/backpack.

The wilderness the better, we will star our adventure on one of the most beautiful areas on Dolly Sods in special in winter time.

This is a "cold winter weather" back-country backpacking trip so PLEASE wear/bring subzero clothes/gear according to the season, special recommendation is wear insulated gloves/boots.

Essential gear need it:
1.) Base layer like long johns or similar
2.) Water proof shoes/boots or water proof socks
3.) Gaiters (if snow is present on ground)
4.) Micro-spikes for better traction on ice-snow
5.) 2 pieces rain suit (we never know)
6.) Your regular winter clothes including
wool hat-gloves + extra layers + towel.
8.) Tent - Sleeping pad - Sleeping bag.
9.) Backpacker stove - dish-spoon
10.) Dry food - Snacks - Energy bars
11.) 2 big mouth water container.
